Hi Erwin, I have crawled around my bike with a flash light now but can't find model number anywere! Only info I can see is "Made In Japan" and "Mikuni"? I guess I'll have to remove petrol tank to see it I will do that next week.

Thanks Lothar. So the down tuning is only in the carburators? What have they done? I have read that some other make and models have strangle washers or different throttle size. Anybody who knows the carburator specifications for the 61hp setup? My bike is a 1993 year model.

Hi my fellow German VX riders. I resently bought a VX 800 in Sweden, it was imported from Germany. I am now not sure if it's a 60hp or the 45hp version. How do I see that? and how do I get it to 60hp if it is the low power engine? Any hint are greatly appriciated.
